Heathfield High School held a 24-hour marathon on the school premises on 14 and 15 October 2016. This fundraiser was to raise funds for the school’s sport department. Thirty athletes ran a 1km course in relay style for 24 hours.
CBA sponsored an athlete for the marathon. The event was successful and the learners of the school were inspired to lead an active healthy lifestyle. The school hopes to register this event in the Guinness Book of Records.
